Originally from Brazil and now based in the UK, Alice is a director with a passion for comedy and character-led storytelling.
After studying Fine Art at Goldsmiths and working for a decade in stop-motion and CGI animation at Aardman, she spent 10 years as an Associate Creative Director, honing her knack for revealing honest, quirky human moments on screen.
In addition to her work in advertising, Alice is developing her narrative portfolio. She was selected for the 2024 BFI’s Director Lab cohort and went on to win the Bournemouth Film School short film commission to make “Paper Bag Thief”, a 5-minute short.
Her latest short, “Ramble”, is a 15-minute drama funded by the BFI Short Film Fund, and stars Billy Howle, Sunil Patel and Nicholas Asbury. It is due for completion in September 2026.
She was selected for the DirectorsUK Inspire cohort 2025/2026, and mentored by Alicia MacDonald (Finding Emily, Too Much, The Outlaws).
